Karen B. Crossin

(484) 530-3266 – Karen is a senior healthcare consultant at The McKeogh Company.  She specializes in multiemployer health and welfare plans and has two decades of experience in the multiemployer benefit industry. Her experience includes actuarial valuations, claims experience analysis, financial projections, contract analysis, participant communications, drafting of plan documents and Summary Plan Descriptions and compliance with laws including HIPAA, ACA, ERISA and COBRA.  She began her career at Towers Perrin as a Benefits Specialist.  Karen’s responsibilities included pension and retiree health and welfare administration.  Karen also worked to develop and implement standard administration practices as well as to provide training to staff members.  Karen joined The McKeogh Company in February 2003. Pamela L. Marlin

(484) 530-3262 – Pam is a Principal of The McKeogh Company.  She has over 35 years of experience in the employee benefits industry and specializes in benefit plan modeling, including plan design and asset/liability modeling, plan document work and compliance with newly released laws and regulations. Pam has made presentations at various industry meetings, including the Enrolled Actuaries Meeting, local Actuaries Club meetings, the Divorce Conference and the Association of Physical Plant Administrators national meeting.  She has served as a member of the Advisory Committee to the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries, as the chairperson of the Retirement Benefits Education Objectives Committee, as a member of the Retirement Systems Practice Advancement Committee, and as a member of the Retirement Systems Education Advisory Group.  She has also served as a member of the organizing committee for the Smaller Consulting Firm Section and on its Council. (484) 530-3260 – Jim is the founder of The McKeogh Company. He has extensive experience in the design of retirement programs for major corporations and multiemployer plans alike. He has also designed asset-liability studies and helped implement dedicated bond portfolios for two of his clients. Jim is a frequent speaker on multiemployer plan topics and has spoken at the Enrolled Actuaries Meetings, the Society of Actuaries Meetings, the Conference of Consulting Actuaries Annual Meetings and the IFEBP Meetings. He was the founding chairperson of the American Academy of Actuaries Task Force for Multiemployer Plans. Read more →

Her experience includes actuarial valuations, experience studies, plan design studies, actuarial modeling, benefit calculations and the preparation of government filings.  Mandy has presented at the annual Enrolled Actuaries Meeting in Washington, DC and was profiled in the Enrolled Actuaries Report, a quarterly publication of the American Academy of Actuaries.  She has also contributed to Benefits Magazine, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans’ (IFEBP) monthly publication.
