Mandy started her professional career at The McKeogh Company part-time during her college years. Upon graduation from Saint Joseph’s University in 2001 with a B.S. degree in mathematics, Mandy joined The McKeogh Company full-time. Mandy’s consulting experience includes actuarial valuations, experience studies, plan design studies, actuarial modeling, benefit calculations and the preparation of government filings. Mandy was a presenter at the annual Enrolled Actuaries Meeting in Washington, D.C. in 2011 and 2012 and was profiled in the Fall 2011 Enrolled Actuaries Report, a quarterly publication of the American Academy of Actuaries. Prior to joining The McKeogh Company, Boris was a Retirement Consultant in Towers Watson’s Philadelphia office for over 11 years, where he specialized in the management of defined benefit plans and postretirement welfare programs. He also has experience with defined contribution plans, executive benefits, and overall benefit design and delivery. Read more
Brian is currently an Associate of the Society of Actuaries as well as a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and is currently pursuing the course of examinations required to become a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He began his career as a data analyst for a small consulting firm, Client Solution Architects, before joining The McKeogh Company in 2012, where he supported government contracts while performing data analysis as well as trending and forecasting. He has provided support for both multiemployer and single-employer plans and has experience in preparing actuarial valuations, preparing government filings, and actuarial modeling.
Bridget joined the McKeogh Company in the summer of 2016, having spent the previous decade in the classroom teaching high school mathematics and Latin. She earned her MS in Mathematics and Statistics from Georgetown University and her Bachelor of Arts in Classic Civilizations from Loyola University Maryland. Bridget is currently pursuing the course of examinations required to become a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
Carolyn is responsible for providing administrative support to both the consulting staff and the President of The McKeogh Company. In addition, she manages the day-to-day operations of the office through a wide variety of support tasks including billing responsibilities, space and facilities management, and communication with outside vendors. Her attention to detail and tenacious nature make her an outstanding contributor to the administrative and organizational needs of the company. Prior to joining the McKeogh Company, Chuck was a visiting professor in the mathematics departments at Tufts University and the University of Delaware. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Ph.D. in pure mathematics. Chuck is currently pursuing the course of examinations required to become a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
Ellen began her career as an Actuarial Analyst in Towers Perrin’s Philadelphia office. She joined The McKeogh Company in October 1999. Ellen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the Pennsylvania State University. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA. Her experience includes working on actuarial pension valuations, benefit design analysis, asset/liability projections, benefit calculations and the preparation of government filings. Read more
Emily graduated from Penn State University in 2010 with a major in French and minors in Mathematics and Business. After two years on the investor relations team for a hedge fund administrator in Manhattan, Emily began to pursue a career as an actuary. Emily is currently pursuing the course of examinations required to become a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
Jim began his career as a high school mathematics teacher in 1971. In 1975, Jim joined The Wyatt Company and began his career in the actuarial profession. He was the Managing Consultant of Wyatt’s Philadelphia office from 1989 to 1995. He left Wyatt in 1995 to join Towers Perrin where he was employed until 1999 when he started The McKeogh Company. Jim has extensive experience in the design of retirement programs for major corporations and multiemployer plans alike. He has also designed asset-liability studies and helped implement dedicated bond portfolios for two of his clients. Read more
Jennifer began her professional career as an intern for Dollar Financial Corporation before joining The McKeogh Company in 2012. She has experience performing data analysis and preparing government filings. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. degree in mathematics and economics with a minor in business. Karen began her career at Towers Perrin in 1999 as a Benefits Specialist. Karen’s responsibilities included pension and retiree health and welfare administration. Karen also worked to develop and implement standard administration practices as well as to provide training to staff members. Karen joined The McKeogh Company in February 2003. Her experience includes working on actuarial valuations, claims utilization review, pricing and rate setting, benefit design analysis, and compliance with laws including HIPAA and PPACA. Read more
Michael began his professional career as an intern for a small pension consulting firm before joining The McKeogh Company in 2009. He has experience working on actuarial valuations, preparing government filings, and performing data analysis. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University’s Fox School of Business with B.B.A. degrees in actuarial science and economics. Michael is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Pam began her career as a computer programmer in 1983. In 1985, Pam joined Miller, Mason and Dickenson where she was responsible for a team of actuarial programmers. Pam left Miller, Mason and Dickenson in 1987 to join Milliman & Robertson. She was a Principal in the New York office of Milliman & Robertson from 1997 until 2000 when she left to join The McKeogh Company. Pam’s experience ranges from asset/liability modeling to plan document work and compliance with newly released laws and regulations including those concerning health care reform. Read more
Robin began her career as a mathematics teacher in Baltimore City. After three years of teaching, she began working as a Benefits Counselor at a small Health and Welfare Administration company in New Jersey. Robin graduated from Bucknell University in 2011 with a major in Economics and a minor in Statistics. She is currently pursuing the course of examinations required to become a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
In 2006, after graduating from Haverford College with a B.S. degree in mathematics and a B.A. in sociology, Sam joined The McKeogh Company. He has experience performing data analysis, working on actuarial pension valuations, benefit calculations, and the preparation of government filings. Read more
Bill began his career in 1987 as an actuarial analyst in the Philadelphia Consulting Office of TPF&C. In 2007, Bill left Towers Perrin to join ABG – Philadelphia, where he was employed as a senior consultant and manager of their actuarial department until 2011. In May 2011, Bill joinedThe McKeogh Company. Bill has served as actuary for several pension plans; his consulting experience includes plan design studies and plan terminations. Bill has a B.B.A. degree in actuarial science from Temple University. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA. Read more
